Merivaara appoints Mrs. Leena Viljo as group CEO
The Board of Directors of Merivaara Oy has appointed Mrs. Leena Viljo (48) LL.M., MBA as CEO of Merivaara group as of 7 May 2018. Leena has an extensive international business background within the IT sector, in particular. She has exported Finnish innovations and built international service, software and equipment business in Finland and abroad.

The production and consumption of healthcare services is changing rapidly, and requirements for efficiency and effectiveness constantly increase. Markku Aherto, who has been the CEO of Merivaara since 2015, will be leaving the company. The board of directors thank Markku for his very valuable work in developing the company.
